About Home Care Sunny Isles Beach
We arrange non-clinical care inside private homes, and we take the administration of it off the family instead of handing it back in a weekly email.
What this office does
We arrange non-medical care inside private homes along the north Miami-Dade coast — washing and dressing, safe movement from room to room, cooked meals, enough upkeep to keep a place working, and somebody in the house who is pleasant to be around.
There is no premises for anyone to attend and no clinical nursing. Where something turns out to be clinical we name it as clinical and point the household elsewhere, which costs us the booking and is still the only honest answer.
What shapes the way we work is a complaint we hear on nearly every first call: the family had already found help, and found themselves running it. Rotas, replacements, repeating the same instructions to a new face. An arrangement is only worth having if the administration of it moves across with the work.
How the office is organised
One contact, holding everything
A single named person at this end keeps the rota, the written plan and the history of the household. Nothing depends on you repeating last month's arrangement to whoever picks up.
Cover is our problem
When an aide is ill or on holiday we find the replacement and brief them from the plan. You are told once, and the sentence usually contains the solution rather than the question.
Written down, then acted on
Tasks, limits, timings and preferences live in one document that every aide reads before the first visit. Visit records come back against it, and a named supervisor reads them.
Audited rather than asserted
ACHC accreditation sits over the training files and the supervisory visits. It is the difference between a claim about oversight and a claim somebody outside this office has checked.
Four questions that reveal how an agency is run
Who holds my rota. What happens when the aide is ill. Where is the plan written down. Who audits the supervision. The answers tell you more than the hourly rate does.
